A concise log of current research, projects, and milestones.
One of the most important research questions is: without my method, where exactly is the field stuck?
Research may begin with an intuition and produce something impressive. But for others to understand and accept the work, it must identify a recurring problem that existing methods handle poorly. For example, existing tools may struggle to keep a body of research organized and direct readers to the evidence that matters without repeated manual publishing work.
The research can then state that problem precisely, propose a new abstraction or method, implement it, and evaluate it systematically.
